The watches were given as a gift to Kanye and company at the completion of the tour. The Zub watch is among the latest in popular watch styles, utilizing more abstract time-telling methods with the use of changing LED bars to denote the time. With only 15 Glow in the Dark watches produced at the time of the tour exclusively for Kanye and company, Nooka just released the watch as a limited edition piece...

Spike Lee x Casio G-Shock Release

One of the most influential film makers and most recognizable New Yorker’s of our time, Spike Lee has been holding it down for a long time. Hooking up with the 25th anniversary festivities, we received a preview of the Spike Lee inspired G-Shock watch back in July and now they have released. The design is kept to a minimum with red accenting, his signature engraved on the backside and a brick wall print backing. The watch comes in a nice Spike Lee box and is available now at Dave’s Quality Meat.

Futura Laboratories x Medicom Toy x Casio - G-Shock Bearbrick Set

In a project largely kept under wraps, Futura Laboratories along with Medicom Toy and Casio put together a special collaboration which features both a classic DW-6900 watch and Medicom Toy Bearbrick. Despite the multiple colors seen on the watch, the balance of color is kept in check with the all-black body and black LCD display. The Bearbrick follows a similar pattern as each body part is done up in a different color. Set for a mid-December release. Pre-orders are currently being accepted at the FL Shop as of tomorrow.

SOPHNET. 10th Anniversary Collection: 1/10 - Wired H

SOPHNET. marks its 10th anniversary in 2008 as the Japanese menswear label has branched out further to also encompass lines such as the co-branded football inspired brand FCRB with Nike and the re-interpretive suit brand uniform experiment. As part of the 10th anniversary commemoration, SOPHNET. has ten products lined up which we can only image will include some heavy hitters. First up in the 1/10 release is two watches with fellow Japanese brand Wired H. The watches are available in either diamond or Swarovski crystal trim and feature a fine balance of sporty looks and refinement. UNION NY - Now Carrying Casio G-Shock Japan

Up until recently there were a number of pieces from the Casion G-Shock collection that was only sold in Japan, now these special pieces will be sold outside of Japan for the first time and UNION NYC will be one of the first doors to carry this first run. The first two styles of G-Shock watches that will be sold at UNION include the 6900 (Big Face G-Shock) and the 5600 (Smaller Face G-Shock). Each style has three different color, totaly 6 different watches that will be sold at select retailers.

Tadashi Mochizuki is thee creative director of men's colleciton for the Japanese fashion label Rico. Independent, a startup watch manufacturer approached Mochizuki for his creative input. This collaboration yielded the "Chronograph".

ALIFE x Casio G-Shock “Three Six Bloody Three Six”

Following up on ALIFE’s Casio G-Shock collaboration, ALIFE has released more details after its Three-6-Mafia Courtyard Session at its New York City flagship store. The Casio G-Shock DW-5600E is limited to 100 pieces and will be available this Saturday, August 16th, only at ALIFE NYC. As the Session was named “Three Six Bloody Three Six”, the watch features a “666″ on the band, along with the ALIFE logo. A commemorative t-shirt and lighter will also be available at its NY, LA, and Vancouver locations. There’s already people lined up at ALIFE NY for these!

Swiss luxury watchmaker Franc Vila believes in bold and instantly recognizable designs, married to excellence in mechanical functionality. The FVa Nº 6 Tourbillon Planétaire Skeleton SuperLigero Concept, which debuted at BaselWorld 2008, was built not merely to look pretty but also to have good mechanical strength – a difficult proposition given the very nature of skeleton watches.

Like Richard Mille, Zenith, Ulysse Nardin and Jaeger-LeCoultre, Franc Vila moved forward with this piece by exploring a new material – Lightnium (an allow of lithium and aluminium). This material boasts high rigidity and low density, and marks yet another milestone for pioneering independent watchmaking.
