Liberty Uses Depth To Secure Victory In Playoff Opener



Shameka Christon (above) shot 4-for-5 behind the arc and finished with 19 points to lead the New York Liberty past the Connecticut Sun in a 72-63 victory. Cathrine Kraayeveld added 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Liberty while Tamika Whitmore led the Sun with 16 points. Don't miss Candace Parker's playoff debut for the L.A.
