Onward and Upward: Liberty and Silver Stars Advance



Description:
Rookie guard Essence Carson (left) came up big for New York in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, scoring 15 points on 7-of-9 shooting, to lead the Liberty to a 66-62 victory over the Connecticut Sun. It was the first time since 2004 that the Liberty won an opening round series. The San Antonio Silver Stars' Sophia Young (right) poured in 27 points to edge the Sacramento Monarchs, 86-81, in Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Don't miss any of the exciting WNBA Playoffs as action continues tonight with two series clinchers.
